WELCOMING A NEW ERA OF FREEDOM.

OUR TABLES

This is our moment and our conversation to lead. 'Our Tables' was a black-led and artist-driven evening of meaningful and necessary sharing, listening, and community building.

Together, as a coalition of black organizations, activists, artists and leaders, we asked our neighborhoods to bring their voice and take a seat on Over-the-Rhine’s Main St., the people’s street, as we physically and symbolically removed boarded up window art and turned those walls of separation into two city-blocks of open table conversations, storytelling, and community healing.

'Our Tables' was just the beginning. It was a night that continues to be built upon as we collectively create a more equitable future city.

Organizing Team:

Cincy Nice, Gee Horton, Siri Imani, Lauren Eylise, TC Flowers, The Black Brass Band

Made possible thanks to the generous support and partnership of:

The Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr./U.S. Bank Foundation, OTR Chamber, Urban Sites and the OTR and downtown Cincinnati merchant community.
