WHO WE ARE
Who We Are
Cincy Nice is a Cultural Strategy & Civic Experience Studio based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Our work lives at the intersection of culture, participation, and possibility.
Sometimes that looks like a citywide festival. Sometimes it's a neighborhood gathering space, a public art initiative, a creative district strategy, a partnership campaign, or a new civic idea finding its footing.
No matter the project, our goal is the same: to help create the conditions for people to connect, contribute, and build something meaningful together.
OUR APPROACH
Still Smiling.
It's more than a mantra. It's our theory of change. We believe the most meaningful change begins with human connection. A conversation. A shared experience. A spark of curiosity. A moment of joy.
When people connect, they care. When they care, they participate. When they participate, they help create what's next. t's how we help bold ideas find momentum.
wHAT WE BELIEVE
ESPECIALLY NOW:
Culture has the power to shape how people see themselves, each other, and the places they call home.
Good ideas like company.
Meaningful change doesn't happen to people. It happens with them.
And while the work can be complicated, joy, curiosity, generosity can still be at the center of it.
OUR STORY
CINCY NICE DIDN’T BEGIN WITH A BUSINESS PLAN
It began with a question — How can we better connect with our city and each other?
As we were launching Cincy Nice, the world was shutting down. The pandemic forced many of us apart from the people, places, and experiences that gave our lives meaning. It also made something incredibly clear: connection isn't a luxury. It's essential.
In the years that followed, we hosted dinners for strangers, produced the nation’s largest light festival (twice), supported artists, activated public spaces, built partnerships, and spent countless hours helping people gather around ideas worth pursuing.
Along the way, we've learned something important:
People don't fall in love with plans.
They fall in love with possibilities.
The projects that leave a lasting impact aren't always the biggest or most expensive.
They're the ones that help people feel something — about each other, about a place, or about a shared sense of purpose.
That's the work we care about.
Today, Cincy Nice is a Cultural Strategy & Civic Experience Studio that helps organizations, institutions, and communities create the conditions for those moments to happen. Through strategy, partnerships, storytelling, and experience design, we help bold ideas find momentum and turn possibility into reality.
We're still learning. Still experimenting. Still bringing people together.
Still Smiling.
